The 2013 Running Festival is scheduled as ususal to take place on the final Sunday in October, this being the 27th and the day the clock change and we gain an hour.
If you have not already got this date in your diary, do so now.
After lasts years record breaking Half Marathon time, a record number of entrants and the highest ever money raised for local charities and good causes no wonder this festival is being called -
"The Scottish Borders Premier Running Event"

The 2012 Running Festival has been a record breaking event in many ways, and can rightfully be claimed to be a great success.
We have had record entries in all of the events (10K - 489 & Half Marathon - 691) and 121 entries for the first ever Ultra Marathon.
The overall turnout on the day has also exceeded our prior best record by 8.8% (excluding the Ultra runners).
To add to this we have had a new course record set for the Half Marathon by Yared Hagos at 66:29 minutes, in all the event can rightly claim to be
"The Scottish Borders Premier Running Event"

All the results are now complete and more photographs are to be added but this will take place progressively over the week starting Monday 29th October. We are also likely to be presenting slightly revised data later in the week as we review the results data for any minor inaccuracy. So for a final definitive results sheet revisit the site early in November.

The main prizes were presented at the Finish Line Podium, secondary prizes will be posted out to runners during the first few days of November.
